Bill Clinton To Address Bloggers Convention in Pittsburgh

Former President Bill Clinton will be in Pittsburgh Thursday to deliver the keynote address at the fourth annual Netroots Nation Convention. The gathering will be held August 13 to 16 at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center. The organization says there will be 70 panels led by national and international and national experts, prominent political and policy-oriented speakers, and an interactive session with Senator Arlen Specter and Congressman Joe Sestak who is challenging Specter in next year's Democratic primary. There will also be a townhall plenary on health care with Howard Dean, former Chairman of the Democratic National Committee and former Governor of Vermont. Netroots Nation is an organization of bloggers who use grassroots activism to promote liberal causes and candidates.
